Oestradiol (E2)

Oestradiol (E2) is one of the three types of estrogen and, in women, is mainly produced in the ovary with levels rising and falling depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle. Normal levels of oestradiol are important for proper ovulation, conception, and pregnancy, in addition to promoting healthy bone structure and regulating cholesterol levels.
